Shahidah Bilal is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and believer in living life intentionally—equal parts spreadsheets and spontaneity.
Growing up in Newark, New Jersey, she learned early that opportunities are rarely handed to you. So she started creating them. From the fashion runways of Europe and Africa to advising C-suite executives at companies generating hundreds of millions—and sometimes billions—in annual revenue, Shahidah has always followed curiosity over convention.
After earning degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business as a Consortium Fellow, Shahidah spent more than a decade in middle market banking while simultaneously investing in residential real estate. She eventually grew a portfolio of rental properties and transitioned from employee to entrepreneur.
Today, she focuses on real estate investing, business acquisition opportunities, and building a life that prioritizes freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment over the traditional script.
She believes financial independence isn't just about the numbers. It's about designing a life you don't need a vacation from.
Outside of business, you'll find her running, hiking, at the theater, or somewhere in the world she hasn't been yet. She has lived on three continents, traveled through dozens of countries, and is still convinced the best opportunities in business and in life begin just outside the comfort zone.
